Is St. Louis Blues pick Jimmy Snuggerud really returning to Minnesota?
The forward announced his plans to return to the Gophers on Tuesday.
Among the streamline of former NCAA players signing NHL contracts today, Minnesota forward Jimmy Snuggerud announced that he plans to return to the Gophers for his Junior season instead.
Snuggerud is a lethal sniper. He finished first in goals (21) and third in points (34) in 38 games for the Gophers this season. The Sophomore had two goals in three Big Ten Tournament games, but was held off the score sheet in both NCAA Tournament matchups.
But is Snuggerud really returning to Minnesota? Because his friend and former teammate, Logan Cooley, seemed to think the same thing around this time last year.
