Stars remain unfazed heading into Game 2 against Vegas

The Stars lost Game 1 at home on Monday.
After working for an entire regular season to earn home ice throughout the Western Conference playoffs, this could have been a punch to the stomach.
Instead, Dallas has shown just how experienced and level-headed they are.
“You would have liked to have won. You don’t have to look any further than Vegas a year ago. They dropped Game 1 of the First Round against Winnipeg, and it’s all about your response,” Stars coach Pete DeBoer said. “If you’re going to win this time of year, you’ve got to respond. We could have won the game tonight, but we didn’t. We didn’t play well enough to make sure we won the game tonight.”
That confidence in the ability to respond is a resounding theme in the Dallas dressing room. And for good reason.
